Primrose is a perennial plant, 10cm high with a short rhizome, wrinkled leaves and rich yellow flowers. The plant can be found in Denmark, Bulgaria, central Ukraine and the Pirin Mountains. The medicinal parts are the flowers and the roots possessing expectorant and secretolytic effects.
