Description of Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex

Fatigued to Fantastic Daily Energy B Complex provides a combination of energy building B vitamins and choline to support endurance and energy, and help maintain mental alertness when experiencing occasional fatigue. B vitamins are water soluble and must be replenished daily for the body to operate at peak energy.

Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex was formulated with Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D., recognized fatigue expert and author of From Fatigued to Fantastic Dr. Teitelbaum received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and has worked with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia patients for the past ten years.

Dr. Teitelbaum recently conducted a randomized clinical trial comparing the results of an individualized protocol to placebo. The results of the study were published in the Journal of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Dr. Teitelbaum found that the participants who followed the individualized protocol experienced improved quality of life compared to the placebo group.

Additional Information for  Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex

STRUCTURE/FUNCTION

Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex is a nutritional supplement containing vitamin B complex necessary for healthy function of blood, brain, and nerve cells which are vital for sustained energy.1

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Sufficient human energy levels are required for all physiologic functions, including muscle contractions, transportation of ions and molecules, and the synthesis of enzymes, hormones, and other macromolecules. Energy metabolism, the conversion of nutrients and oxygen into fuel, is a continuous process that takes place within the mitochondria, unique cellular structures. Mitochondrial energy production follows precise metabolic pathways and requires specific molecules, cofactors, and enzymes.2 The resulting product is the special carrier for cellular energy, adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The energy released from ATP powers all physiologic functions.3

Any dysfunction along the complex and multi-stepped process of cellular energy metabolism may result in insufficient ATP production. Consequently, physiologic functions may be significantly affected. Muscle contractions may be weak, ions and molecules may not be transported effectively, and enzymatic reactions may be insufficient.2-4 The result is often occasional fatigue, that state following a period of mental or bodily activity, characterized by a lessened capacity for work and reduced efficiency of accomplishment, usually accompanied by a feeling of occasional weariness, sleepiness, or irritability.5 Healthy human energy metabolism is crucial to sufficient ATP production.2-4

The B vitamins, thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacinamide (B3), pantothenic acid, B6, B12, and folic acid are notable for their synergistic behavior and are most effective when they are taken together. Because they are water-soluble, they are usually not stored and must be taken on a daily basis. The B vitamins are vital to energy production, specifically in the Krebs Cycle, a metabolic pathway that supplies high-energy electrons to drive mitochondrial ATP production.1

Each individual ingredient in Fatigued to Fantastic!Daily Energy B Complex provides significant nutritional support for healthy energy metabolism.

Please see the following chart for more detailed information.

Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex Ingredients Energy Support Function
Thiamin (Thiamin HCl) Supports healthy energy, growth, appetite, and learning capacity; supports healthy red blood cell production; supports carbohydrate metabolism and the production of hydrochloric acid.6-8
Riboflavin(Vitamin B2) Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is crucial in the production of body energy. Supports healthy glutathione reductase activity, which helps maintain glutathione, a major protector against free radical damage. Vitamin B2 itself also has antioxidant qualities.9-11
Niacin(Niacinamide) Niacinamide is an essential nutrient for the healthy metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, as well as for the production of hydrochloric acid for digestion.10,12-13
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCl) Supports the absorption of fats and protein; supports healthy red blood cell formation, healthy nervous system function and supports the healthy synthesis of the nucleic acids RNA and DNA, which contain the genetic instructions for the reproduction of all cells and for healthy cellular growth.14-16
Folic Acid Folic acid's main function is support of healthy energy production. It supports healthy immune system and healthy nervous system function. Folic acid works best when combined with vitamin B12. Recent research shows folic acid can reduce the amount of the amino acid homocysteine in the blood.17-20
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) This essential nutrient supports healthy human energy production. Vitamin B12 helps support metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. It supports healthy cell formation and cellular longevity.20-22
Pantothenic Acid(calcium D-pantothenate) An essential component in the production of coenzyme A, a vital catalyst that is required for the conversion of carbohydrates, fats, and protein into energy.23-25
Choline Bitartrate With pantothenic acid, choline bitartrate supports the healthy production of acetylcholine, a major neurotransmitter that facilitates the transmission of impulses between neurons.26,27

While each individual ingredient in Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex provides significant nutritional support for healthy energy metabolism, it is theorized that when they are taken together synergistic effects will be noted.28,29 Due to the observed interdependency and known interactions of the B vitamins and choline contained in Fatigued to Fantastic! Daily Energy B Complex, significant support of healthy energy metabolism and healthy energy levels may be realized.
